nbn® Business Solutions Specialists

NBN Co Specialists

Enterprise NBN, nbn® Enterprise Ethernet and business fibre solutions for SE QLD.

Enterprise-grade fibre — with the SLAs your business actually needs

NBN Co's enterprise products are nothing like residential NBN. nbn® Enterprise Ethernet (NEE) is a dedicated fibre service with a 4-hour fault response SLA, guaranteed symmetrical speeds and 99.95% uptime — purpose-built for cloud-first businesses, multi-site operations, VoIP-heavy workplaces and any organisation where the internet going down means real money walking out the door. We design, scope, quote and deliver the entire stack via our nbn® business retailer partnerships.

Products & Offerings

The full nbn® business product range

nbn® Enterprise Ethernet (NEE)

Dedicated symmetrical fibre — 10/10 up to 1000/1000Mbps. 99.95% SLA. 4-hour repair commitment. Guaranteed CIR (no contention with residential traffic). The benchmark for any business where the internet is mission-critical.

Business NBN (Bundled Wholesale)

Priority business queues on top of the residential NBN technology at your address — FTTP, HFC, FTTC, FTTN or Fixed Wireless. Best when NEE isn't justified by the workload.

Fibre Upgrade Program (FTTN → FTTP)

If you're on FTTN/FTTC and stuck with sub-100Mbps, NBN's free fibre upgrade program rolls fibre to your door — we manage the application, install scheduling and post-install router reconfiguration.

NBN Speed Tiers (25/100/250/1000)

We pre-check what your address actually supports, run a speed audit on existing services, and right-size the tier so you're not paying for speed your access tech can't deliver.

Multi-Site nbn® Aggregation

Where you have multiple sites, we design and deliver matching NEE / Business NBN services with consistent speeds, IP plans and failover — so every shopfront behaves the same.

Static IP & Reverse DNS

All business NBN services support static IPs and routed subnets where required. We handle the order, reverse DNS, and firewall config.

Why Us

Why design your nbn® solution with us

Address-Level Pre-Checks

Before you commit, we run a wholesale nbn® check on your exact address — what technology, what speeds, whether NEE is on-net, expected build cost (zero, partial, or capital contribution). No nasty surprises after signing.

Vendor-Neutral Quoting

We quote across multiple nbn® retailers (Aussie Broadband, Vocus, Symbio, Macquarie, Vertel) and present apples-for-apples — best price, best SLA, best fit for your business.

Project-Managed Delivery

NEE installs involve cabler appointments, NBN tech visits, fibre lead-in, NTU mounting and CVC provisioning. We coordinate every step so you're not chasing five vendors yourself.

Edge Hardware Done Right

We supply, configure and install the firewall / UniFi gateway behind the NEE / NBN service — VLANs, QoS for voice, IPSec VPN, failover orchestration.

Failover Architecture

Even the best fibre fails sometimes (someone always cuts a cable eventually). We design true diverse failover — secondary NBN, 4G/5G or microwave — with automatic cutover and monitoring.

One Number For Service

Fault on the service? Slow speeds? You call us — we drive the retailer and NBN ticket from open to resolution. You don't sit through 90 minutes of Tier-1 questions.

Use Cases

Where nbn® business solutions shine

Cloud-Native Offices

M365, Google Workspace, Xero, Salesforce, Adobe CC — modern offices are 100% internet-dependent. NEE's symmetrical speeds and SLA pay for themselves the first time you avoid a half-day outage.

VoIP & Teams Phone Workplaces

20+ concurrent voice calls without QoS turning your sales floor into a robot-voice convention. NEE's guaranteed bandwidth and low jitter is the right substrate.

Hosted Applications

Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS WorkSpaces, hosted line-of-business apps — anything where the user experience is bottlenecked by upload speed.

On-Site Servers Exposed To Internet

Static IPs, reverse DNS, business-priority routing — exactly what you need when you're hosting an Exchange, RDS, VPN, or LOB app on-premises.

Multi-Site Headquarters

Higher-spec NEE at HQ, matching Business NBN at branch offices, all knitted together with SD-WAN. Consistent performance, centralised IP plan, predictable cost.

EFTPOS-Critical Retail

Cafes, bottle shops, retail chains where the EFTPOS not working = the till stops. Business NBN priority queue + 4G failover = no Saturday-night drama.

Our Process

How an nbn® enterprise delivery runs

1

Address & Use-Case Discovery

Free pre-check on your exact business address — what's available, what's right-sized for your business, and where the failover redundancy should sit.

2

Vendor Comparison & Quote

Side-by-side comparison of 3-4 NBN retailers offering the same wholesale product — different SLAs, support tiers, contract terms, total cost. We recommend, you choose.

3

Order & Project Plan

NEE projects are typically 8-16 weeks; Business NBN 1-4 weeks. We provide a written project plan with milestones, dependencies and check-ins.

4

Site Survey & Cable Path

For NEE, NBN's cabler designs the fibre lead-in to your building. We coordinate access, lift permits, building manager sign-offs, and NTU mounting location.

5

Install, Test & Cut Over

On commissioning day we install the firewall, configure the new service, validate speeds and SLA, cut over from the old service, and decommission the legacy ADSL/NBN once stable.

6

Documentation & Handover

Written service summary — login portals, static IPs, contacts, SLA, escalation paths — in your IT documentation vault. Plus 30 days post-cutover hyper-care.

FAQs

nbn® Business FAQs

What's the difference between Business NBN and nbn® Enterprise Ethernet?
Business NBN rides on residential NBN access (FTTP/HFC/FTTC/FTTN) with a priority support queue. NEE is a dedicated symmetrical fibre service with a 4-hour repair SLA and 99.95% uptime — completely separate from residential infrastructure.
How much does NEE cost?
Monthly cost depends on speed tier (10/10 to 1000/1000) and contract length — usually $400/month for entry-level up to several thousand for top-tier. Install is often $0 if the address is 'on-net' (existing fibre in the street), or can be $5k-$50k+ as a capital contribution if civil works are required. We confirm both before quoting.
How do I know if NEE is on-net at my address?
We run a wholesale NBN check using your exact address. About 70% of commercial addresses in SE QLD metro areas (Ipswich CBD, Brisbane, Springfield, Toowoomba) are now on-net with $0 install.
Can NBN upgrade my FTTN to fibre for free?
Yes — NBN's Fibre Upgrade Program rolls FTTP to qualifying FTTN/FTTC addresses at no install cost (subject to taking a 100/40 or higher plan for 12 months). We handle the application and post-install router config.
How long does an NEE install take?
Typically 8-16 weeks from order to live, sometimes longer if civil works are required (trenching across roads, council permits, building owner approvals). Standard Business NBN is 1-4 weeks.
Can you do diverse-path / second-fibre failover?
Yes — for mission-critical sites we design diverse path: primary NEE + secondary NEE from a different exchange, or NEE + 4G/5G. Auto-failover via SD-WAN / UniFi cloud gateway.
Do I need a contract?
Most NEE services require 24-36 month contracts (the build cost amortises into the monthly). Business NBN is generally month-to-month with most retailers.
