Acronis Cyber Cloud Partner

Acronis Specialists

Cyber Protect — backup, anti-ransomware, EDR and recovery in a single agent.

One agent. Backup, security and recovery — all in the same console.

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud unifies what used to be 5 separate products — backup, anti-malware, EDR, patch management, M365 backup and disaster recovery — into a single lightweight agent and one cloud console. Australian-hosted data, AUD billing and centrally managed by us. For SMBs and not-for-profits that want enterprise-grade cyber resilience without buying and integrating five vendors.

Products & Offerings

Everything Acronis Cyber Protect covers

Image-Based Backup (Windows, Mac, Linux, VMs)

Full-image and file-level backup for endpoints, physical servers and VMware / Hyper-V / Scale Computing / Citrix / Nutanix VMs. Local and Acronis Australian Cloud destinations.

Anti-Ransomware (Active Protection)

Behavioural ransomware detection that catches encryption activity in real time, stops it, and rolls affected files back using the integrated backup. No separate AV needed for ransomware-specific defence.

EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response)

Lightweight EDR baked into the same agent as backup — incident timeline, MITRE ATT&CK mapping, rollback, isolate-from-network. Optional add-on for higher-risk endpoints.

Patch Management

OS and third-party patching (Chrome, Acrobat, Java, 7-Zip, etc.) from the same console as backup. Saves running a separate patching tool.

Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace Backup

Granular backup of Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and Google Workspace tenants. Restore single emails, files or sites point-in-time.

Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS)

Boot your backups as VMs inside Acronis Cloud during an outage — get back online in minutes/hours instead of waiting for replacement hardware. Configured per-workload RPO/RTO.

Acronis Cyber Notary / Files Cloud

Optional file sync, secure file sharing and document notarisation for compliance-bound workflows.

Why Us

Why deploy Acronis with us

Authorised Acronis Partner

Direct partner billing, escalation to Acronis support, access to MSP-grade multi-tenant console for centralised management.

Australian Data Sovereignty

All backup and DRaaS data targets Acronis Sydney data centre — no offshore data egress, GDPR/Privacy Act compliant by default.

One Agent, Five Products

Lower complexity, lower endpoint overhead, one console to monitor — instead of juggling separate AV, backup, EDR, patching and DR vendors.

Backup + Security In Lockstep

Because anti-ransomware and backup are in the same agent, restore-after-ransomware actually works — encrypted files are rolled back instantly.

Compliance Reporting Built In

Backup status, patch compliance, threat detection, M365 protection — one dashboard, one monthly report. Auditor-ready.

Quarterly DR Testing

We run scheduled DR tests every quarter against your Acronis backups — actually verify recovery, document RTO, fix gaps before they bite.

Use Cases

Where Acronis Cyber Protect shines

Multi-Service Consolidation

Replace your separate AV + backup + patching + M365 backup contracts with one Acronis subscription. Usually cheaper and always less to manage.

Hybrid On-Prem + Cloud Estates

Some workloads on-prem, some in M365, some in Azure / AWS — Acronis covers all of them with one agent family and one console.

M365 + Endpoint Backup Combo

Endpoint backup + M365 SaaS Protection in the same product — popular with field workforces where the laptop is more important than the server.

Ransomware-Sensitive Sectors

Healthcare, legal, NDIS — the integrated anti-ransomware + instant rollback combo is genuinely powerful when ransomware comes for your file shares.

DRaaS for Critical Workloads

Spin up servers as VMs in Acronis Cloud during a primary-site outage — keeps the business running while you sort hardware on the ground.

Compliance-Bound Not-for-Profits

Australian data hosting, audit logging, encryption at rest, M365 backup — meets most NFP donor / grant compliance requirements out of the box.

Our Process

How an Acronis deployment runs

1

Workload Audit

We catalogue protected workloads (endpoints, servers, VMs, M365 tenants) and define RPO/RTO targets per group.

2

Cyber Protect Design

Plan selection (Standard / Advanced / EDR add-on), backup destinations, anti-ransomware policy, patch baseline, M365 backup scope.

3

Tenant Build & Agent Deploy

Acronis tenant provisioned, agents deployed via RMM/GPO/Intune, M365 connector authorised, initial backup seeded.

4

Policy Tuning

Backup schedules, retention, anti-ransomware sensitivity, patch approval workflows configured. Documented in your IT runbook.

5

First DR Test

Within 30 days we boot a critical workload from backup as an Acronis Cloud VM — proves recovery works, documents RTO.

6

Ongoing Management

Daily backup monitoring, monthly health reports, quarterly DR drills, M365 retention reviews, patch approval gates.

FAQs

Acronis FAQs

How does Acronis compare to Datto or Veeam?
Acronis bundles backup + anti-ransomware + EDR + patching in one agent — broader scope at lower complexity. Datto SIRIS has stronger instant-virtualisation (boot a server backup as VM in 60 minutes). Veeam is the gold standard for VM-heavy enterprise estates. We deploy all three depending on what fits the customer best.
Is Acronis hosted in Australia?
Yes — backup data and DRaaS targets are hosted in Acronis's Sydney data centre. Data sovereignty preserved for AU customers.
Does Acronis include antivirus?
Yes — Cyber Protect includes integrated anti-malware (signature + behavioural). Some customers run it alongside Defender; others use it as the primary AV. We design the right combination per customer.
Can it back up Microsoft 365?
Yes — granular M365 backup (Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams) is included in standard Cyber Protect Cloud plans. Point-in-time restore at item level.
How much does Acronis cost?
Per-workload monthly pricing — endpoint backup from ~$5/month, server backup from ~$25/month, M365 backup ~$3-5/user/month. EDR and DRaaS are add-ons. Always cheaper than buying the equivalent capabilities as 4 separate products.
What about the EDR module?
Acronis EDR provides incident timeline, MITRE ATT&CK mapping, threat-hunting and remediation directly from the same console. Not as deep as CrowdStrike, but a strong middle-ground option for SMBs.
Do you provide ongoing management?
Yes — managed Acronis covers daily backup verification, threat alert response, patch approval, M365 backup health, quarterly DR testing, and monthly reporting.
